About Coach

Movement has always been a part of my life. I grew up playing soccer and loved the feeling of being part of a team, pushing myself physically and constantly learning. Over the years, I’ve worked hard to improve my relationship with health and wellness. For a long time, it felt like something I had to do instead of something I got to do. Through group fitness, time outdoors and learning to listen to my body, I found a more balanced, joyful approach to movement — and now I want to help others find that too. Working at Washington State Parks has only deepened my appreciation for staying active and connected to the outdoors. Being able to move, breathe fresh air and encourage others to do the same has shaped me into the person I am today — one who values balance, mental and physical strength and showing up for yourself and others. As a coach, I bring positive energy, a supportive vibe and workouts that challenge you in all the right ways. Whether you’re new to fitness or have been doing this for years, my goal is to make you feel strong, capable and proud of what your body can do — no pressure, just progress.

Turning Point

For a long time, I had an all-or-nothing mindset when it came to fitness and health. I thought if I wasn’t going all in — working out constantly, eating “clean,” always being on top of everything — then I was failing. And deep down, a lot of that came from a place of insecurity. I didn’t feel confident in my body, and I thought if I could just push hard enough, I’d finally feel “good enough.” But all that pressure eventually caught up with me. I got burned out and ended up stepping away from fitness completely. I wasn’t taking care of myself — physically or mentally. I felt stuck and disconnected from the things that used to bring me joy. What helped me turn things around wasn’t a big, dramatic moment — it was a slow shift in how I saw movement and health. I stopped chasing perfection and started focusing on consistency. I stopped trying to change my body and started trying to take care of it. I began moving in ways that felt good, getting outside more and really working on my mental health too. That’s when I started to feel like myself again. That journey is what led me to group fitness and eventually to coaching. I know what it’s like to struggle with insecurity, burnout and feeling like you’re not enough. Now, I coach to help others move past those same barriers — to feel strong, confident and supported in a space that doesn’t expect perfection.

Motivation & Passion

My purpose for coaching is to help people feel stronger — physically and mentally — through movement. I’m especially passionate about supporting people who want to improve their overall health but might not know where to start, or who are trying to rebuild their connection to fitness after time away. I’ve had seasons where I wasn’t taking care of myself, and I know how hard it can be to get back into a routine. That’s why I focus on creating a welcoming, down-to-earth environment where people feel encouraged, not judged. I also emphasize the importance of listening to your body — understanding what it needs and honoring those signals — so fitness feels sustainable and supportive, not stressful. If you’re looking for a coach who’s supportive, approachable and focused on progress that feels good — come to one of my classes!
