Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science
As a kid I played a bit of everything; soccer, wrestling, basketball, football, and a whole lot of baseball. I really enjoyed sports, but training in the gym was where I found my passion. I began bumbling my way around my high school gym in sophomore year for a weight training class. I quickly fell in love with fitness, and as my knowledge grew so did my passion. That drive has propelled me to where I am today!
Before I began studying Exercise Science, I was a physics major. During my third year, I began to realize that I was unhappy with my collegiate choices thus far and decided to take a year break from college for some self-reflection. I had planned on becoming a physicist since freshman year in high school, I had never stopped to consider anything else. Fitness was already my biggest passion, but I was only pursuing it as a personal hobby, so I decided to take it more seriously and study Exercise Science at CWU. I could not have been happier with my decision, and I can't wait to see where a career in fitness takes me!
Fitness changed my life for the better in more ways than I could fit here. It has improved almost every facet of my life, and there is nothing I enjoy more than helping others along their own fitness journeys and sharing what I have learned with them!
